To celebrate its Golden Jubilee year, the Crafts Council of India in conjunction with Amethyst presents 2 separate exhibitions of India’s embroideries:
The Parsi Gara and Phulkari from Punjab. The Phulkari exhibition will showcase priceless and rare Phulkari pieces from the Museum collections of C.K. Bharany’s and Dr. Jasleen Dhamija ( from 27th – 29th November).
The Parsi Gara exhibition will feature fashion designer Ashdeen Lilaowala’s exquisite collection of Gara embroidered saris, cocktail dresses, scarves,etc. It will be on from November 26th – 3rd December.
