Block making is essentially a very intricate form of wood carving to produce blocks that are used in the printing process.

1. Sourcing and Transporting raw materials and raw material preparation

3. Dyeing of the fiber
- Depending on the requirements the yarn is dyed using natural or synthetic dyes.
4. Loom preparations
- The warping process
- Once the design is finalised it is drafted on the loom
- Bobbin filling
5. Hand Weaving
- Once the loom is set the actual hand weaving process is commenced.
6. Finishing
- Once the fabric is taken off the loom, the piece is trimmed, and the edge is finished (tasseling/pico etc)
