CRAFTEPRENEUR, third edition, comes to Chennai!
The Crafts Council of India presents ‘Craftepreneur’, an exhibition of re-imagined crafts and textiles, created young designers, on 16, 17 and 18 February 2017 at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai.
Craftepreneur is a word coined by CCI to identify an entrepreneur who has used a craft, either current or languishing and has given it a bold, contemporary feel, imagery and form.
This exclusive show of the Crafts Council of India places the relevance of handmade in a modern day context. The 3 day exhibition will display classical-contemporary crafts, clothing, textiles, bags, jewellery, decor and home accents created by the vision and passion of 22 craftepreneurs from across many regions of the country.
